Legislative drafting & formatting standards
Establish a consistent structure for ASBSU legislation so students and representatives can more easily understand what a proposal does.
Progress so far
A draft of Establishing Legislative Drafting and Formatting Standards has been developed. It addresses the format of bills, resolutions, declarations, and code changes.

What I’m working on as the semester gets started.
Starting with clearer legislation
I’ve developed a draft of Code Change #24 to bring more consistency to ASBSU’s legislative drafting and formatting. The next step is required review and any revisions before consideration.
Getting started as your representative
I’ve been appointed as a first-year representative for the 2026–27 academic year. My focus is learning the role, making student government easier to follow, and building a foundation for first-year student input.
